Algae will grow normally on this coral, as well as other inhabitants such as tree worms or star polyps. Each piece is completely cured and then hand-dyed using a special technique. Using this process along with the use of a unique (the actual ingredients are a trade secret) epoxy based dye, you can easily see individual polyp holes & ridges! Great for any freshwater or saltwater fish tank or
mini-reef aquarium. The dye used is non-toxic to all aquarium life including
invertebrates. Does not leach into the water! Coral is very easy to clean and
maintain and will maintain its colors for years.
