Natural Dyed Plate Corals 7-14" |
Plate specimens are usually a
single flat plate or dome of coral. Two major types of plate coral are
available, one known as Common or Mushroom Cap plate and the other known as
Slipper plate. This type of coral is great for bottom dwelling species that
require a small cave for optimum health. Inhabitants such as eels, gobies,
crustaceans, and octopus.
The average Mushroom Cap plate is a round, flattened disk. Slipper has a
longer, dome-like appearance and almost always forms a nice cave underneath.
